The pricing custom stained glass designs can seem complicated. The following estimator will help you get a rough estimate of the cost of a design you are considering.

* For simple straight line design, use $75.00 for calculating "base" price. For intricate, more complicated designs, use $95.00 for calculating "base" price. Organic designs: birds, flowers, landscapes, etc. require more pieces and more intricate cuts than geometric designs, so they will be in the higher average, but not necessarily at the $95.00. 

**The average design will have 8 to 15 pieces per square foot. More is charged for wood framing, installation, bevels, jewels, sand etching, painting and other specialty treatments.

***The pieces are priced from $2.00 to $4.00 each, depending on the type of glass and the intricacy of the cuts.
